The purpose of this report was to consider the specifics of two surveys carried out for the Information Society Commission in 2002, one of the general public and one of businesses. In respect of these surveys the ESRI was asked to consider the validity of the statistical coverage and approach and to assess the robustness of the estimates produced. In addition, the ESRI was asked to outline the main findings of the surveys and to make related recommednations.
