No. 38 of 2003 - European Communities (Amendment) Act 2003
What does this Law do?
This new law provides for the application in Ireland of certain parts of the Treaty concerning the Accession of the Czech Republic, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Poland, the Republic of Slovenia and the Slovak Republic to the European Union. This Treaty is added to the list of Treaties contained in the European Communities Acts 1972-2002. The passage of this Act is a necessary part of Ireland's ratification procedure for the Accession Treaty.
