What does this Law do?
This new law provides for the establishment of the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority (IAASA) to supervise the regulatory functions of prescribed accounting bodies. It amends company law to transfer to IAASA existing functions relating to the recognition of accountancy bodies and it otherwise amends company law in relation to auditing , accounting and other matters
